英语演讲比赛分为定题演讲、即兴演讲和回答问题三部分。定题演讲的题目在正式比赛前两周公布，即兴演讲则是在六十道题目中随机抽取一道作为选手演讲的题目，在正式比赛前一周公布题库。

这两周以来，秦晏如和苏念杉每天晚上都会抽出一个小时，预订一个讨论室准备演讲比赛。

第一周两人已完成定题演讲的准备，这周两人计划准备即兴演讲，每人三十道题目，轮流说说自己的看法。

讨论室里，秦晏如和苏念杉对坐，按一人一道的顺序交流。

秦晏如看了一眼题目：What is the world。他撑着脑袋思考了一分钟，缓缓开口。

"The world is a chese board, on which we played the game that will never supposed to be fair, but still excite us with its numerous possibilities……

The world is not fair, but it doesn't make it any less worthy of living. So go play with what you have, carefully but boldly at the same time, to unleash the unknown possibility of life or chage the game."
